Since 1935, The Wilderness Society has led the effort to inspire Americans to step up against the privatization of public land. They needed a campaign that would ignite a sense of ownership and build a community driven by action.

#OurWild is more than a hashtag, it’s a movement. A firm belief that America’s public lands should remain as they were made—wild, and for all.

As the central hub for the campaign, the microsite offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the issue, add their voice and dollars to the cause, and create sharable content of their own.

In the first month, the campaign reached 4.4 million users, increased Facebook followers by 20k, and visitors spent an average of 7 minutes on the site.
