Stone Way Cafe
Under a new name and ownership, Stone Way Cafe needed a brand identity that would feel at home in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
Our approach was inspired by the area’s industrial past. We envisaged a local cafe whose graphics and signage were adapted by tradesmen over its long history. We worked with sign painters and fabricators to bring the identity to life.
We created a no-nonsense typeface inspired by makeshift fabrication for primary signage, 15 custom graphics for garage windows, and branded various items for the cafe.
